And gave me 2 years to chase my favorite bands around the country in a trailer with my guy and two pugs, a mortgage and debt free life, and the freedom to spend my summers galavanting around Europe while keeping my homestead in Austin, Texas.
In 2015, industry changes suddenly wiped out my whole profit margin. And even though I had a very successful business, I was unable to pay myself. It didn't take long until the foreclosure paperwork arrived from the bank and we were about to lose our home too.
On the brink of bankruptcy, I had to pivot, and pivot fast. At the tail end of 2015, I created and implemented what I now call the 7-Figure Freedom Method.
Within 6 months, I transformed my $0 profit margin and 65+ hour workweek into a 65% profit margin and an 8 hour workweek, with my team running the day-to-day without me.
Then in the spring of 2016, after the scrutiny of a forensic accountant to ensure that my business valuation was valid, I sold my business for the highest multiplier my business broker had ever seen, 3X the original sales price. And I was paid in FULL up front.
