Many times our clients come to us maxed out and stressed. When we start unpacking that, it feels overwhelming for the visionaries we serve. So my question has been: how can we make this process easier for our clients and be more effective overall?

Combine that with the fact that in the coaching industry, only 16% of clients get the results they want out of the service they sign up for. I refuse to accept that low success rate for my own business.

That’s why I’ve made creating results for our clients my most important priority. One way that I generate the desired results for my clients is by hiring skilled project managers and then training them and installing them into businesses. This helps eliminate roadblocks for CEOs that are looking to free up their time.

Why Install a Project Manager?

This is so important because I believe that visionary CEOs aren’t made for figuring out SOPs, hiring, training, and other tasks along those lines. I call that “boring stuff.” Instead, CEOs are here to develop the vision, make an impact, and transform the world.

The truth is that the project managers we install into business are essentially a scaling expert that comes at half the cost of the average online business manager. The whole purpose of installing a project manager into a business is to help build out the foundation. Best of all, it makes scaling possible in a quicker and easier way.

I’ve found that most businesses are built for where they’re at right now and not where they’re going. That means that you’re constantly bumping into capacity blocks that stop growth. Project managers step in to eliminate these issues, remove you as the bottleneck, and streamline and simplify things in your business. 

Now,  I’ll take you through the different phases of our project manager install and the accelerator programs we offer to allow you to get time back, attain more freedom, and allow your business to scale.

The Preface Phase

The first phase is the preface. Here, the project manager steps in and reviews everything going on in your business. They look at things like your online presence, listen to your podcast if you have one, look at your lead magnets and sales funnels, and do whatever they need to do to really understand your business. 

Here, the project manager will look at the fundamental structure of our business and start templating that to match yours. Essentially, this becomes your business’ organizational headquarters. 

Your business’ infrastructure will be built out. A centralized virtual drive for your entire company will be created and communication will be streamlined.  There’s LOTS of great stuff happening here!

The Project and Build Out Phase

Next is the project and build-out phase. Here, the project manager will have a 90-minute session with you to ask questions and get more clarity. This is where they get ready to build out your operational structure and implement the strategy.

You’ll come up with clear, 90-day goals together, and then the project manager will start getting to work! Here are some examples of things they can work on:

  • Refining your SOPs and organizing your SOP library
  • Creating a content library 
  • Organizing all launch assets in one central location
  • Building out training for all positions and streamlining your onboarding process 

These are just a few examples – there are so many things your project manager can assist with at this phase.

The Day-to-Day Phase

Next is the day-to-day phase. At this point, the project manager steps in and takes the day-to-day team management off your hands. This allows you to focus on your zone of genius. 

They’ll track team tasks, set deadlines, ensure people have the resources they need, and host team meetings. They’ll also take on special projects and create a structure for initiatives. Essentially, they ensure everything stays on track.

The project manager will meet with you at least once a week to keep you in the loop on what’s going on with your team and what’s going on in the business.

The Hand-Off Phase

Finally, we reach the hand-off phase! Now is when you decide if you want to keep the project manager you’ve been working with or have them hire and train their replacement.

They can easily hand things off to a new hire if need be because all the structure and operational processes are there. All they’ll have to do is hand things off to the person that will be the first line of defense to protect your time.

Which Project Manager Accelerator is Right for You?: The Bottom Line

This allows you to hire a project manager when the time is right. It’s for you if you’re looking to move slower, but with the infusion of a project manager. If you’re a business owner making around $250k-$500k annually.
