In this post, we’re talking about what success looks like for different people in different phases of their business. I work with a lot of amazing people. Some have left their corporate careers for more unique roles that cover a range of industries. Moves that some people may think are “weird .”But I don’t subscribe to that. I think doing these fantastic and unique things makes them special, makes them money, and gives them the comfort of living a life that is true to themselves.

Showing Off Your Quirks

They’re not watering down their potency to make sales or appeal to the masses. They’re trying to fit into someone else’s mold of success and ready to let their freak flag fly. I think these types of people are drawn to me because I’m passionate about helping people slip into their true power and share their most precious gifts with the world. 

I think my business is an excellent fit for these individuals and their businesses because I don’t use a one-size-fits-all solution. We use their natural talents and strengths and align their scaling tactics to who they are. If you’re using methods that don’t feel right to you, then you’re not going to be able to sustain them. There are so many coaches and mentors out there giving a single solution and expecting it to work for everyone. And we know that doesn’t work for so many people. 

Making Aligned Business Choices

I’m personally a total introvert, so if you told me that I needed to go out and network in masterminds to find referral partners, I would rather sit in my office and do just about anything but that. That sounds horrible to me. But it might have worked well for someone else. But it won’t work for me, and I don’t need to try to force it. I need to find something that is fun. Like podcasting, sitting in my home and pouring my heart and ideas out is terrific for me. 

The first thing I do is have my clients take the Strengths Finder 2.0 assessment, and I look at their human design chart. So we can work together to find the ways you can best serve your business and get it ready to scale. There are so many ways to look at how you can share your ideas and market naturally that puts your talents at the forefront and feels natural. 

So often, the visionary, the change-maker, that rebel entrepreneur that had so much passion when they started a business, lost it, right? They are almost bored. And they’re also exhausted and tired because it didn’t entirely turn out the way they had hoped. They thought they would feel fulfilled. And now they’re in their 40s and into their 50s, and they are looking to make an impact.

Redesigning Your Business is Possible

And we’re not willing to just make money. They want more than that. They’ve hit a point where they know they need to make adjustments and changes but don’t know where to start. And often, it’s because the business was designed based on a cookie-cutter strategy that somebody else gave to them, and they’ve been contorting themselves thinking this is the only way that I can be successful. This is the only way my business is going to work. That’s not true. We can redesign your business to feel good and make an impact. 

This is why I call myself the business architect because I love stepping into these businesses and seeing the patterns and redesigning things so it becomes easy. And sometimes people get triggered when I say that because I say this a lot. If you’re going to hang out with me, you might want to know. But I believe business should be easy. I think lives should be easy. Is it always easy? No, it’s not always easy. But I think it can be, and I believe it should be.
